AzSEC 2020 Fast Pitch Awardees
A "Fast Pitch" is a competition and an opportunity for students to summarize their research in a two-slide virtual presentation. Each student is allowed two minutes to present with the goal of enticing the audience to seek to learn more about their research. Though the conference of 2020 was an exclusively virtual format without the benefit of posters for audience members to visit after the talks, the competition garnered contestants who presented research related to categories such as: Systems Level Energy; Systems Level Water/Food; Basic Energy/Water/Food Science. Presentations were judged on the following criteria: delivery, relevance to the conference, slide content, clearly stated methods & conclusion. Two students from each school were selected for a prize of $200.
Congratulations to our 2020 Awardees!
