AzSEC 2019 Fast Pitch Awardees

AzSEC 2019 Fast Pitch Awardees

"Fast Pitch" is competition and an opportunity for students to summarize their research presented in their posters.  Each student is allowed two minutes and up to two slides to present with the goal of enticing the audience to visit their poster.  2019 garnered 40 contestants who competed in one of five self-selected categories: Cross-Border Energy/Water/Food Issues; Energy Economics & Policy - Water Law & Policy - Behavioral/consumer research; Systems Level Energy; Systems Level Water/Food; Basic Energy/Water/Food Science.  Presentations were judged on the following criteria: delivery, relevance to the conference, slide content, clearly stated methods & conclusion.  Two students from each school were selected for a prize of $200 with the generous contribution by this year's sponsors - TEP, APS, and SRP.

Congratulations to our 2019 Awardees!
