Gregory Ogden

Research Associate Professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering

Greg Ogden is a professional registered chemical engineer (PE) in Arizona. Dr. Ogden has a diverse industrial background including over 25 years of design experience in air pollution control technologies for coal-fired power plants, nuclear materials processing and containment, low temperature soil remediation, low NOx burner design, renewable fuels production and green propellant development. He is currently an Associate Research professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arizona where he manages the department’s Unit Operations Laboratory and mentors the Engineering Capstone Senior Design Course. Dr. Ogden’s research involves design and operation of algal raceways, evaluation of novel fuel additives designed to increase performance and reduce emissions from diesel and gasoline engines and optimizing renewable energy systems for the process industry.
